Ramapo police officer removes a bag that was stuck on the deer's head

Ramapo, NY - A deer recently got a large bag stuck on its head, but local police came to its rescue.
In a video, the deer can be seen lying down in the snow, with the large bag over its head. An officer approaches and gently pulls on the bag until the deer’s head pops free, and the animal then runs away.
Police took the opportunity to point out that it wasn’t their usual “masked” suspect.
“The Town of Ramapo Police Department responded to a report of a masked suspect roaming the area,” police said.
“The subject turned out to be a deer disguising itself as a bag,” police joked, in the post. “Officers sprang into deer-tective mode, removed the disguise, and released the suspect back into the wild on its own hoof.”
The deer appeared to be healthy and ran back to the wild after its ordeal.
