Dashcam shows suspect in a stolen BMW pushing a police cruiser before being pinned in a snow bank

Bloomington, MN - Well, at least he’ll have some time to think about his 2026 New Year’s Resolutions.
He was in the Target on Ford Parkway in St. Paul at about 9:15 last night – running from their security team.
That’s about when our deputies found the stolen BMW 335 parked outside the Target. It was stolen in Bloomington a day earlier.
Deputy McManus and Sgt. Suchy had it boxed in. But he was desperate to get away, apparently, and turned the key, pressed the gas and bashed his way past two squads.
Then he drove into oncoming traffic on Ford Parkway.
That’s where Deputy McManus pinned the BMW into a snowbank with a squad.
The 23-year-old man from Minneapolis was removed from the driver’s seat and arrested for criminal damage to property, fleeing a peace officer, motor vehicle theft, and shoplifting.
He also had nine felony charges out of Hennepin County – which he can address when 2026 gets underway.
