Vehicles pile up on Chinese highway after smoke from engine fire reduces visibility
Multiple cars crashed one after another after a motor caught fire in northern China reducing visibility on a highway.
In the footage captured in the Dingzhou section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, a car on a commodity transporter suddenly caught fire.
The commodity transporter then parked in a roadside parking belt and removed the burning vehicle.
The smoke pouring from the burning vehicle combined with slippery roads meant nearby motorists could not brake in time.
