Montgomery County, MD - Montgomery County police are looking for more information about a man they said was impersonating a cop and pulling people over.

Officers released body-camera video on Wednesday showing them pulling over Alejandro Ceferino Zunca, 67, of Montgomery Village on Friday, Aug. 29.

Investigators said Zunca was driving a Ford van marked with “Police” and “Policia” that had red and blue lights, which can be seen in the video.

In the video, Zunca is asked whether he is a police officer.

"I was," the man can be heard saying in the video.

Police said he had no identification or documentation verifying his current or former status as an officer.

When he was arrested, Zunca had a fake badge and holster that had a replica black pistol. Police also found the following:

* A yellow reflective police ribbon
* A uniform shirt labeled “HAPCOA POLICE”
* A taser in a holster
* An ASP baton
* A tri-fold wallet containing a Baltimore City Police badge
* Handcuffs
* A baseball cap embroidered with “POLICIA NATIONAL”
* An anti-ballistic vest
* A roll of yellow caution tape
* Additional items resembling police equipment

Investigators said they later learned that Zunca had been pulling people over in other jurisdictions, and they believe he may have done the same in Montgomery County.
