Man Saved From Jumping Off Williamsburg Bridge By NYPD Cop

A man moments away from jumping off the Williamsburg Bridge was stopped and saved by NYPD officers, heart-stopping body cam video shows.

The man, 58, was standing on the ledge of the Williamsburg Bridge when police arrived Tuesday about 5:45 a.m., officials said.

In the police footage, one of the officers from the NYPD 90th Precinct can be heard saying, "We're here to help, just relax," as they pulled the man down from the ledge.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, an NYPD spokesperson said on Wednesday morning.
