Beautiful footage shows salmon leap up Scottish river to spawn

Beautiful footage filmed on Friday (November 6th) shows Atlantic salmon leaping up a river in Perthshire in Scotland to spawn.

The video, which was captured on the River Almond, shows the incredible effort the fish make to get across fast-flowing sections of white water.

When the mature salmon re-enter rivers to spawn, they change in colour and appearance.
