Pierce County, WA - A 21-year-old driver and three teens were arrested following a dangerous pursuit involving a stolen vehicle in Pierce County on Monday, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office said.

On Oct. 6, around 10:15 p.m., a Pierce County sergeant located the stolen vehicle, which was also being sought by Puyallup Police, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.

An attempted traffic stop led to a high-speed chase down Pierce County roads and, at one point, train tracks, deputies said.

Dash video shows the sergeant's attempt to perform a PIT maneuver failed when his vehicle slid into a ditch, allowing the suspect vehicle to flee.

A Puyallup officer later picked up the pursuit, which ended when the vehicle got stuck in a ditch, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.

The sergeant said he was "ok", uninjured, and asked for help to get out of the ditch.

The driver and three passengers fled on foot but were quickly apprehended.

The juveniles, aged 12, 14, and 16, were taken to Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Center and appeared intoxicated and were found with alcohol containers in the vehicle, which had significant ignition damage, according to deputies.

The driver, 21, was booked into Pierce County Jail on charges including possession of stolen property, bribery, DUI, eluding, and reckless endangerment, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office said.
