Mammatus Clouds
Mammatus clouds: pouch-like pouches hanging from cloud bases, usually cumulonimbus anvils.
Formed by sinking, evaporating air parcels creating downward bulges.
Often signal thunderstorms or turbulence, but harmless themselves.
Name from Latin "mamma" (breast/udder).
