Pleasant Prairie, WI - Pleasant Prairie police used a grappling device to help end a high-speed pursuit Friday.

The department released dash camera video of the incident on its Facebook page showing the device shoot out from the front of the cruiser, hook onto the suspect's vehicle and bring it to a stop.

Police said they chased the SUV after an officer spotted it driving recklessly and without headlights.

The officer tried to pull the driver over on 95th Street, but police said the driver sped off, leading to the miles-long pursuit.

After using the grappler device to stop the chase, police arrested the driver.
