PSNI release bodycam footage of moment proxy bomb explodes outside Northern Ireland police station

Dunmurry, UK - The PSNI has released bodycam footage of the moment a car bomb detonated outside Dunmurry police station on Saturday night.

Chief Constable Jon Boutcher described the attack as "deliberate, reckless and stupid".

A male delivery driver was hijacked in the Twinbrook area of west Belfast, a device placed inside the vehicle, and he was ordered to drive to Dunmurry police station.

The car exploded outside the station as people were being evacuated, in an incident which is being treated by police as attempted murder.
