Drone footage shows suspect tossing gun during foot chase

Brooklyn, NY - Our NYPD officers responded to a 911 call in the 75th Precinct for a dispute involving a firearm. That suspect threw a .40 caliber semi-automatic firearm as he ran from officers.

Our Drone as First Responder program was deployed, assisting our members in locating the gun and apprehending that suspect.

This collaboration between officers on the ground and technology in the air is how we keep guns off our streets.
