A drunk motorist drove off a highway and into an 8-metre-deep construction site in southern China.

In the CCTV footage filmed in the early morning in Guiyang City, a car broke through the roadside barrier and flew into the construction site.

The car fell into a pit which was about 8 meters deep on the site. The driver and two passengers in the car were injured.

According to the police, the accident happened because the driver was drunk and driving fast. Fortunately, everyone in the car
