TPD releases footage of I-75 police pursuit that ends in crash, hospitalizing 3 people

Toledo, OH - A stolen car chase on I-75 ended in a crash, sending the 20-year-old driver and two juveniles to the hospital.
The incident began around 12:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, when officers attempted to stop a car near South and Broadway, but the driver took off, according to authorities.
The chase continued on to northbound I-75, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles an hour, according to police.
The driver eventually lost control near the Detroit Ave. exit, hitting a guardrail, crossing the median and landing near the southbound lanes.
None of the occupants were seriously injured.
Police said one boy is in custody at the Juvenile Detention Center. He is facing felony charges of receiving stolen property and escape. He is also charged with falsification and violation of a court order from May that he has an active warrant for.
A juvenile girl has a warrant out for her arrest on a falsification charge in connection to the pursuit. She is not yet in custody.
