Bodycam shows deputies helping deer escape Florida home and swimming pool

St. Johns County, FL - In the video, the deputy and the resident of the home can be seen strategizing on how to get the animal out of the home. They come up with a plan to move furniture around to create a sort of path.
The deer didn't take the hint at first, so the deputy went outside and retrieved an extendable swimming pool brush, which he used to gently nudge the animal and coax it out of the bathroom.
The buck, appearing nervous and with its legs a little shaky, made its way out a sliding glass door.
But the wildlife call wasn't over yet.
That's because the deer wandered onto the patio, and instead of running away, it leapt into an in-ground swimming pool. After a brief dip, the deer made it out of the pool but then ran into a part of the yard where it couldn't escape.
It's then seen turning around and once again jumping back into the pool. After a moment, the deer makes its way out of the pool, runs into another part of the yard, jumps a fence, and makes its way into a wooded area.
