London Terminus 1944
It's Waterloo Station and the UK is involved in Total Warfare in Europe and beyond.. the advent of the war delayed the introduction of mass TV for all so many people resorted to 'News Theatres' for their dose of 'The News'. And, in those days a job was a job.. after the war the UK was more or less on it's knees and was only kept afloat with massive loans from the USA which incidentally the UK only just finished paying back those loans (about 2013-ish). A 24 hour look at days long before TV's and even telephones. A different world indeed. as it happens organised crime took over during those years with rival criminal factions like the Krays and the Richardsons staking out their respective territories. T'was a good time to be young.. (so they say)
