Columbus, OH - Police body camera video shows a squirrel being rescued from the stands during Ohio State’s football game on Saturday afternoon.

Bodycam video from the Perry Township Police Department shows the squirrel underneath a row of bleachers in the upper stands of Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

As the Ohio State Buckeyes took on Ball State Saturday afternoon on the field, an officer went to work to help the squirrel out.

After taking steps to calm the squirrel, the officer eventually found an empty beer box and scooped the squirrel up, taking the animal to safety.
