Video shows high-speed chase end with car plunging into Lake Como

Lake Como, WI - Lake Geneva police released bodycam and dashcam footage showing a high-speed chase that ended with a car driving 100 feet into Lake Como.
At 11:07 p.m. on August 7, Lake Geneva police attempted to stop a vehicle on Broad Street after they saw a passenger hanging out of the vehicle and not wearing a seatbelt.
Dashcam video shows the driver of the vehicle continuing to go faster, ignoring stop signs, and going the wrong way down a one-way street.
The car hits bumps while going so fast that it begins sparking on the road. The driver takes a turn, which is when the vehicle goes straight into Lake Como.
Four people got out of the car and swam to a nearby pier, where officers helped them out of the water.
The driver, whom police identified as Cash Rauscher, was charged with:
* fleeing/eluding a traffic officer
* recklessly endangering safety
Police also cited Rauscher with:
* operating without a license
* operating without insurance
* failure to obey a traffic officer
* failure to stop at a stop sign
* unreasonable and imprudent speed
* reckless driving - endangering safety
* violation of absolute sobriety
Two people were transported to a hospital, and two people declined medical treatment, police said.
