A man luckily survived after a lamp post fell from a crane and landed on him in southern China.

The terrifying video, filmed in the city of Chaozhou in Guangdong Province on October 22, shows the lamp post suddenly falling down from a crane, knocking over a man walking past under it.

Nearby people helped the man get back to his feet.

The man was sent to hospital for treatment. Fortunately, he only suffered minor scratches and he has been discharged from hospital.
