Snohomish police rescue man from burning truck

Snohomish, WA - Newly released body cam footage has captured the rescue of a man by police from a burning truck after a crash that occurred Wednesday morning.

Officers arrived at the scene shortly before 5:40 a.m., following reports of a crash near State Route 9.

One deputy attempted to extinguish the fire before smashing the truck's window to rescue the unresponsive driver.

In the footage, officers can be heard urging, "Get out! Your truck is on fire!" as they pulled the man from the wreck.

Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue reported that the driver was quickly transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
