India claims successful test of supersonic cruise missile

India today (October 18th) claimed to a have successfully tested a supersonic cruise missile.

According to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Brahmos missile was fired from the Indian Navy's INS Chennai and hit a target in the Arabian Sea.
