Body cam footage shows suspect trying to steal Christmas in Upstate

The Pickens Police Department has made a high-profile arrest of a suspect who attempted to steal Christmas.
Officers said burglaries have been happening around town with the suspect described as being furry, green and wearing a Santa hat and jacket.
Upon arrival, officials said they found the suspect inside a victim’s home, attempting to steal a Christmas tree and gifts.
After a short pursuit and being tased, the suspect was taken into custody.
Police identified the suspect as The Grinch.
“The Grinch has been charged with first-degree stealing Christmas and third-degree onion breath,” the department said.
