OKCPD releases video of suspect armed with a 3-hole punch then taking and discharging officers gun

New body camera footage showed the intense moments an Oklahoma City police officer was grazed by a bullet at a medical facility.

The department released the new body camera video on Friday. Last month, police responded to a call about an intake patient assaulting employees and bystanders with a metal three-hole punch.

After refusing to cooperate with officers, the suspect grabbed the officer’s gun and fired a round, grazing the officer's leg.

In the video, the officer can be seen taking the gun out of the suspect’s hands and taking him into custody. The officer and a few people at the facility were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.
