Carrollton, TX - The Carrollton Police Department shared video Monday of a chase that occurred last month involving a U-Haul truck that led to two arrests.

This happened the same month as an hour-long low-speed chase involving also involving a U-Haul truck across Tarrant County.

Dash cam footage shared by police of the Carrollton chase, which took place March 5, shows the truck driving over a median, weaving through parking lots, and rampaging through suburban streets and alleyways in an attempt to escape police before officers were finally able to get the vehicle pulled over.

According to police, two suspects, 29-year-old Kasia Martin and 37-year-old Shane Lusk, were arrested in connection with the chase.

Lusk was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, as well as an active probation violation warrant out of Dallas County for fraud use of identifying information. Martin was arrested on an active theft warrant out of Denton County.

Police say the incident began at a Chevron gas station at 2525 N. Josey Lane, with the chase beginning after the suspects left the gas station and drove eastbound on East Trinity Mills Road and onto President George Bush Turnpike. The chase ended near Camel Drive and Hunters Ridge, in an alley behind the 2100 block of Marlin Drive, a residential area.

According to police, several items were found in the vehicle in wallets, backpacks, and a folder that were collected as evidence. Those items include several credit and debit cards in different names, vehicle titles, tax documents, passports, checks and ID cards.
