Body cam footage shows Whitfield Co. deputies shooting 2 dogs, killing one

Whitfield County, GA - The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office released body camera footage from last week when deputies shot two dogs, killing one.
"We understand how deeply loved pets are and how painful such a loss can be," Sheriff Darren J. Pierce said in a statement.
They acknowledged that the community has questions about what exactly happened during this incident.
"We believe in complete transparency for all incidents, not just the ones that bring pride and joy to our community," said Sheriff Pierce.

The video shows one dog running and jumping onto a deputy, with the deputy firing at the dog.
It then shows another dog charging a second deputy, who then shot at that dog before the video fades to black.
