Slovenia's Parliament House hit with torch amid intense anti-lockdown protests
Slovenia’s recent tightening of COVID-19 restrictions has met with opposition from several civil society groups and on Wednesday evening *(September 16), protesters took to the streets of Ljubljana. Most of the dissenters gathered on Republic Street near the house of the Parliament of Slovenia.
In the video, people are chanting towards the House of Parliament. Smoke bombs fly into the air, at the moment the torch flies into the arch of the entrance to the House of Parliament. The police had to use tear gas and a water cannon to disperse the protest.
