Thousands of Afghans are still attempting to enter airport in Kabul
Thousands of Afghans were seen attempting to enter Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport five days after the Taliban took hold of Afghanistan.
Footage from August 19 shows large crowds packed outside the airport's perimeter. Gunfire can be heard ringing out in the distance.
According to reports, the Taliban have set up armed checkpoints on routes leading to the airport to prevent locals and interpreters from fleeing the country.
