Piers Corbyn at Punjab independence protest takes turn into anti-vax speech
Piers Corbyn, brother of former Labour leader Jeremy, spoke at a protest outside the Indian Embassy in London on Indian Independence Day (Sunday 15 August).
The protest included campaigners for independence for Punjab ('Khalistan') and Kashmir, as well as in supporters of Indian farmers who opposed planned reforms to agricultural markets in India.
Mr Corbyn spoke to the Khalistan group, but during his speech he took a sharp turn in topic to return to a favourite issue of his -- vaccines, which he believes are dangerous.
Scientists say the evidence for the efficacy and safety of Covid vaccines is extremely strong.
