Iran: Talks should result in lifting sanctions
Iran and the remaining signatories to the 20-15 nuclear deal are set to hold talks in Vienna next week. Now, Iran says the negotiations are a chance for the US and the remaining signatories to prove their genuine intention.
To fulfill that, the other sides should get back to full implementation of their commitments through lifting ALL inhuman and illegal sanctions in an effective manner. That’s according to the Acting Head of Iran Mission in Vienna, Mohammad Reza Ghaebi. He made those comments in a statement to the international atomic energy agency. Ghaebi said, the sole cause of the current problems regarding the nuclear deal is the 20-18 US withdrawal and its re-imposition of sanctions. He criticized Europe for failing to acknowledge that. Ghaebi defended Iran’s remedial actions, saying, they were within the framework of the nuclear agreement.
