Aerial footage shows Belgian town submerged by floodwaters Friday
Aerial footage showed the Belgian municipality of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve submerged in floodwaters on Friday 16 July.
The town is in the Walloon Brabant region, one of the worst-hit areas in Europe's recent floods.
Heavy rainfall and flooding has affected a wide area of western Europe.
A large number of other countries, from India to the US, are also battling flooding.
Scientists say extreme weather events are made more likely by climate change.
The drone footage has been slightly sped up from its original recording speed.
