Ingredients:
It is a typical mountain dish, very similar to polenta from northern Italy. The characteristic of (guess the name) is in the ingredients (all strictly Sicilian) based on cicerchie flour, accompanied by broccoli and lard, bacon or sausage cracklings, served with slices of toasted bread. In case you have leftover (guess the name), you can, the next day, cut into pieces and eat fried, for the more "greedy" palates you can fry in lard.

Ingredients:
200 gr. of cicerchie flour
Bacon
Garlic
Oil (olive, of course)
½ liter of water
Borage or broccoli
Lard

Preparation:
Boil the water and then add the vegetables. Fry the bacon, lard and garlic. Then pour the flour into the vegetable broth and turn the mixture until it becomes homogeneous and thick. Add the sauté to the mixture. Pour into plates and serve with toasted slices of bread.
