Sydney storm flood washes away trash bins in Sydney
Floods triggered by violent thunderstorms washed away trash bins in Sydney, Australia, on October 14.
Footage shows the wastebaskets being carried off in the water which swamped a neighbourhood in Penrith city on Thursday.
The ‘very dangerous’ thunderstorms blitzed Sydney and New South Wales on Thursday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).
They said the inclement weather brought large hailstones, flash flooding, and strong winds across western Australia, leaving several suburbs without power.
The BOM said the weather system has weakened, but warned of possible localised thunderstorms in storm-battered areas.
