Calf pulled out of narrow borewell by villagers in southern India
A calf was hauled out of a narrow borewell by locals in Tamil Nadu, southern India.
The baby cow had fallen down the pit when it was grazing in Ramanathapuram on July 21.
Villagers used ropes to haul the calf from out of the borewell. Once the animal was successfully rescued, the locals assessed its health and released it.
