China launches cargo spacecraft to deliver supplies to new space station
China launched the Tianzhou-3 cargo spacecraft to deliver supplies for an under-construction new space station called Tiangong, which is scheduled to be completed by next year.
The video was filmed in the city of Wenchang in Hainan Province on September 20. The Long March-7 Y4 rocket carrying Tianzhou-3 blasted off from the Wenchang launch site.
Tianzhou-3 is headed for Tianhe, the core module of the country's new Tiangong space station where three Chinese astronauts spent three months building the Tiangong space station and returned to earth on September 17.
