Sexy hairdresser drums up business at local Thai salon
A sexy hairdresser drums up business at a local salon for wearing revealing clothes.
Kesinee Chansang, 36, known by her nickname ‘B’ cut hair while wearing a black spaghetti strap top and high-waisted jeans in her shop in Chonburi Province, Thailand.
She had previously worked as an office worker before she and other staff were laid off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
After being out of work for a few months, she decided to shift careers and become a beautician saying she had always been interested in the field.
She said: ‘My staff and I see more than 40 customers come to the shop every day. A lot of them are men. They are friendly and fun to talk with.’
The resourceful woman went back to school last year and learned how to cut hair from an educational institute in Pattaya.
With the help of an acquaintance, she then used her savings to open the shop she called ‘Barber B’s’ on September 1 this year and had been popular among male patrons.
The business quickly became a success despite Covid-19 restrictions affecting operations.
However, she added that wearing revealing clothes was not for marketing but ‘simply a part of their lifestyle’ as they also serve women and children.
She said: ‘This is simply part of our lifestyle. There were many women and children who come here as well. I would like to thank all customers who like and come to use our services.’
The shop’s prices start at 50 baht for children, and 100 baht for adults.
Thailand has been dealing with its worst outbreak of infections after cases flared up in April this year. The highest daily total was more than 23,000.
Ministers have relaxed lockdown measures and hope that a vaccination roll-out will allow the country to re-open in October, with tourists arriving shortly after.
More than 10 million people, or 14 per cent of the population, have so far received two doses of vaccines from various companies.
