Authorities in southern India seize haul of jewellery and decorations made from wild animals
Authorities in southern India have seized a haul of jewellery and decorative items made from elephants tusks, deer antlers and turtle shells.
Acting on a tip-off, police searched a house in the Kanniyakumari district of Tamilnadu earlier this month (August) and found a host of items made from ivory, along with antlers and whole turtle shells.
The owner of the home was taken into custody and is being investigated.
This footage was captured on August 3.
